Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true
Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemondrops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?
Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?
If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?
The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!
Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!
When I'm stuck with a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And grin,
And say,
Oh
The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
Tïll tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!
I love ya
Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
Away!
There are five chapters in the book.
Randy Pausch states not only the importance of overcoming obstacles but also that of living in the present -fully realizing each moment.
What interests me most is his ways of doing things and his attitude toward life. He's full of spirits, a man of efficiency and excellence. He's also an admirable person who lives with integrity and love.
Randy Pausch's life is coming to an end. But his lecture and his book have inspired and encouraged people around the world. He has made a difference with them.
Words of wisdom I've gleaned from the book.
Randy Pausch Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams
--- An inspiring lecture that tells us how to lead our life in a more positive way.

"13 Green Questions Answered!": Your Everyday decisions really can make a difference"一文中提出13個常見的節約能源的選擇,並逐一釋疑及推薦較優的方式。例如In public toilets, is it better to use a paper towel or an electric hand dryer?
(Key: Go for the hot air!),What's best: curtains or venetian blinds? (Key: Curtains win hands down!)
How Green Are You?: Take our test to discover your green evolution則是很受用,問卷的結果以一株玉米,綠色的背景,依照得分用Just sprouting、Starting to bloom、Living Green顯示受試者的環保意識和習慣,很有創意。

Education is the only way you're ever going to escape poverty. It's the only way you're ever going to get ahead in life and be successful."
Ben Carson(a pediatric neurosurgeon)
