When the word of truth is spoken,

When the bread of life is broken,

When the goodness is revealed,
when the covenant is sealed,
when the broken life is healed,
sing, sing the song of life. When the light shines in the darkness,

When the heart grows in the heartless,
sing, sing the song of life.
When I see the You in me
when the 'I' becomes a 'we',
when creation is set free
sing, sing the song of life. | When the hurting finds compassion,
sing, sing the song of life.
where the heart may make confession,
sing, sing the song of life.
When the lost is found and prized,
when our dreams are realized,
when God's will is visualized
sing, sing the song of life.
Into hate and into dying
sing, sing the song of life.
Into suffering and crying
sing, sing the song of life
.Into mistrust, doubt, despair
breath God's healing, love and care.
Grace is given grace to share,
sing, sing the song of life.
