Until I Had a Bike
by Annie Chan
Until I had a bike
I had never known
Where the country road led.
I had never known
That there was a pond
On the other side of the road.
Neither had I known before
What swans looked like.
When I stood by the pond,
And watched the swans swimming
Gracefully in the water.
My spirits soared,
And all my troubles went away.
My bike took me to a new world
On this wonderful day.
