Racing the Wind

Dolphin Diaries: Racing the Wind

racing the wind.jpg

There is so much to see and learn about life in the rain forest that I wish stay longer...
but on the other hand, I am looking forward to getting back to Dolphin Dreamer....
And being back on the ocean, away from this awful heat. I can't wait to be able to
stand out on the deck with the spray of salt on my fact and my hair flying in the breeze
as we're racing teh wind again.
---Jody (pp.154-155)

根據Dictionary.com的定義為
a freshwater South American dolphin, Inia geoffrensis, having a long snout and fluctuating in color between pink and gray:
inhabits the Amazon and Orinoco river systems.

1. Sadly, once the rain forest is cleared, it may never grow back. (p.21)
2. Everything in nature is interconnected. (p.22)
3. The river and the forest provided well and there was plenty of food for everyone. (p.107)
4. What's good for the people won't be good for wildlife. (p.107)
