Learning how to Learn

This is a book about learning.

First, what is really learning?
According to the author, learning is understanding new things and getting better ways to do things.

One important factor influencing learning:

You have to decide what you want to learn.

Next, why do you study?
You do not study merely to pass a test. You study to use what you have learned.

There are some barriers to study:

1. Lack of Mass (缺乏實體物)

(Mass refers to the real things or the objects that you study about.)

2. The Skipped Gradient (跳過一個梯級)

(A gradient is a way of learning or doing something step by step.)

3. The Misunderstood word (誤解的字)

To overcome this barrier, you have to find the misunderstood word and look it up
in the dictionary. Look over all of the definitions an find the definition that fits

in what you are studying. Always try to learn more about the new word and use it in sentences.

In conclusion, the author stresses that learning is not hard to do and it can be fun. As

long as you can handle the barriers to study, you can learn anything you want to

learn.
