The Christmas Day Kitten
It describes how a stray cat, Debbie, enjoys her occassional visit to a kind woman's house where she gets fed and sits in front of the
fire with three Basset Hounds before she leaves.
No one knows where the shy cat goes.
And on a Christmas morning, Debbie comes back again and gives the kind woman a most precious Christmas present.
A pretty touching story to read at Christmas time.

Eat more roughage.
Do more than others expect you to do and do it at pains.
Remember what life tells you.
Don't take to heart everything you hear.
Don't spend all that you have.
